The Hive is a collective creative work space and gallery, located in the Railroad Square Art Park in Tallahassee, FL. Current inhabitants work primarily in ceramics, leather, textiles, and books. Open First Fridays, special events, and by appointment.

ART LUCK: similar to a pot luck, but artists bring artwork as their ‘dishes.’
Currently looking at roughly 16+ artists participating, including leatherwork, textiles, jewelery, ceramics, photography, sculpture, painting and more. Did I mention sock puppets? Food, music, art, laughter, party party party.

Peace Day in Railroad Square on Sunday was a lot of fun–the studio isn’t officially open yet, but we hung out and made some new friends. We especially enjoyed Pam’s singing and guitar playing!

Bridget Elmer will soon be landing at The Hive. In the meantime, her artists’ books will be featured in the By The Book exhibition at the Blue Spiral 1 gallery in Asheville, NC. The exhibition opens on April 30th.
